Thanks to this mass of crepes you can enjoy at home a delicious breakfast investing very little time. Very simple ingredients and a good nonstick skillet are all you need to make homemade pancakes. Are you in?

Today I’m going to give you a basic recipe for sweet crepe dough. To make the salty version you just need to remove the tablespoon of sugar and add a larger pinch of salt.

One of the most fun things about crepes is that they can be tuned to suit everyone’s taste: with fresh fruit, honey, whipped cream, nuts… If you have some time, throw the house out the window and prepare a homemade chocolate syrup or your own cocoa and hazelnut cream.

Although this is a simple recipe, you should keep in mind a couple of tips. On the one hand, the dough should have no lumps and have to rest for a while before making the crepes. On the other hand, remember not to put too much dough in the pan so that the crepes are finite.

But as the movement is shown by walking, it’s best if I tell you how to make homemade pancakes step by step. Let’s get to it.

Ingredients to make crepe dough. Quantities for 8 units approximately

  • 2 eggs
  • 30 g butter (and a little more to brush the pan)
  • 325 ml of whole milk
  • 140 g of flour
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to make crepe dough

  • Start by beating the eggs with the sugar until it dissolves.
  • Then add the flour and a pinch of salt. Mix well until you get a paste of paste.
  • Then add the milk and continue mixing until all the lumps are dissolved.
  • Add the melted butter to the microwave and mix until blended with the rest of the ingredients.
  • Cover the container where you have the dough with some paper film and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least half an hour.
  • After the rest time, heat a skillet over medium heat and grease it. What I do is pour a small amount of batter and spread it out with a piece of paper.
  • Pour some dough into the pan and move it so that it spreads over the entire surface. Remember that the crepes must remain finite.
  • When bubbles start to appear in the dough, turn it over. If the pan is nonstick it will not stick. Cook the crepe on the other side until it is also curdled here. I raise a corner to see if it is done.
  • Place the crepes on a plate and cover with another to keep them warm. Proceed the same way until you finish with all the dough.
  • Finally, decorate the crepes with the topping or filling you prefer and enjoy them quietly.
